Summer is upon us and even though we have had a bit of a slump in the past month, it’s all steam aboard for the latest release, Dusk till Dawn, coming this summer. We have some promos to look over, more additions to the Living Legend list and what could possibly be the first trip abroad for some Flesh and Blood competition.
Dusk Till Dawn
The latest supplementary set to come out this year, Dusk Till Dawn promises to be a great influx of new tools for every hero in the game. We’ve already seen some spoilers for several new hero specializations, including one for Shiyanna?!? This set, in combination with the Living Legend changes we’ll have soon, is bound to change things up yet again. Stay tuned to find out when the prerelease events will be held and to see what the latest news around this set are.
June Armories:
This month we’ll be having some promos that don’t even exist yet! That’s right, just like every release period, promos from an upcoming set are being given out as early treats. This time, in preparation for Dusk Till Dawn dropping mid July, we’ll be handing out the following at all of our Armory events.
1 Cold Foil Flail of Agony to the winner of each event
6 Extended Art Rainbow Foil Vantom Banshee (2 from each pitch value) from 2nd to 7th place
1 Dusk Till Dawn playmat given to the player with the most XP acquired during the month
1 Requiem of the Damned playmat to be given to a new player at our Open Day event (see details below)
Living Legend:
During this Road to Nationals season, which is taking place in large FaB communities abroad, more Living Legend points were handed out to several heroes, one of which, due in no small part to Pablo Pintor’s win at the Antwerp Calling, has reached Living Legend status, making them the first hero to do so in both Blitz and Classic Constructed. Oldhim is now in permanent stasis until a Living Legend format is introduced or a new version of him is released further down the line. Lexi is gaining heaps of points as well, but she still has a long way to go before rotating out, and Briar, though not performing exceptionally well lately, is now only 2 points away from retiring too. Keep in mind all of these changes will be taking effect during the next Ban & Restricted announcement coming in early July. Until then, you’re still free to be playing your Oldhim decks.
National Championship:
During this time, Road to Nationals events have been taking place around the world, in preparation for the National Championship season. It has been quiet on the front for our community and some players have even contemplated traveling abroad for a chance to attend an event as large as this. Though we have not made any official announcmeents on the matter, we will soon. For now, check this out!.
New Player Blitz Preconstructed Open Day:
Flesh and Blood has been with us for a little over 2 years and we’re constantly looking for more people to share this amazing game with. That’s why we’re hosting our very first “Flesh & Blood Open Day” on the 24th of June. Come in, pick up a preconstructed deck, learn the game, play some matches and walk away with some sweet promos, all for FREE!
In this event, we’ll be playing with Blitz Preconstructed decks. You can bring your own, buy one from the store or borrow one from the free decks available. Then you can sit down with one of our experienced players to learn how to play, or if you already have a grasp of the game, you can challenge anyone to a game. You can come and leave as you please, play as many games as you like. For every game you play, you receive one promo card and all new players will have a chance to win an exclusive playmat!
This event is the perfect opportunity to learn how to play and test out different playstyles. And did we mention it’s FREE? Bring a friend, learn to play and enjoy this sensational TCG!
