Are you ready to embark upon an adventurous journey through the High Seas! Flesh & Blood’s latest set is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to share all the spicy details with you all. We’re traversing some uncharted waters here folks!
High Seas Release:
High Seas promises to be another slam dunk from Legend Story Studios, with the introduction of two new classes; Necromancer and Pirate. The three new heroes featured in the set will be both Pirates as well as an additional class, making this the first time we’ve seen dual class heroes in a draftable set.
Puffin, the first Mechanologist to exist in a draftable set alongside other classes since Arcane Rising, looks extremely promising, and with her trusty companion Polly Cranka by her side, she is sure to put together some incredible machinery, and crank her way to victory!

Marlynn, is afraid of nothing! No sea creature is too big for her to hunt down. No monster from the depths can match the power unleashed from her ship’s cannons. This is one Ranger who truly is worth her salt.

Gravy Bones has a name that might roll off the tongue with the grace of a spoonful of marmite, but rest assured that this captain will be exactly what keeps you up at night! His seaworthy crew has followed him from the glory days all the way to the depths of the seven seas, all giving their all in life and in death, in service of their trusted leader. Necromancers raise the dead, and this one does so from beneath the crashing waves.

High Seas promises to bring the noise for many different classes, as well as some exciting goodies from the expansion slot. If that was not enough, each booster box of High Seas will include a Treasure Pack, with glorious rewards. What’s inside is for the sea to know, and you to find out!
You can pre-order High Seas booster boxes and cases here. Anyone who pre-orders a case of High Seas will also be allowed to participate to the next 3 Armory events from the set’s release date for free! Additionally, for anyone who purchases a box of High Seas, one of the below buy-a-box promos will be given at random. If you pre-purchase the number of promos you will receive is doubled! There’s a limited number of these, so first come first served. There isn't enough treasure for us all!

Alongside the full set releasing, Gravy Bones will also be receiving a whole Armory Deck of his own! Make sure you have pre-purchased one if you’re looking to get in on that Necromancer action, as these will be received in extremely low numbers, and will surely be gone in no time!

Events:
Since we have all been good boys, LSS has awarded us with more pre-release promos! This means we can run two pre-release events. On Friday, May 30th, instead of an Armory, we’ll host our first Pre-Release! Then after some much needed rest, another Prerelease will be kicking off in the morning of the 31st. You can find tickets to both events here. Even though our promo allocation has been doubled, we will prioritize giving promos to those who have not received any during the weekend.

The week following prerelease, we will host a double draft event! One on Friday and another on Saturday! This will be much needed draft practice for the upcoming Nationals later in June.
Armory events will be kicking off as per usual the week after that, and offer both CC and draft events in preparation for the biggest event of the year! GEM pack rewards have also graduated to season 2, featuring promos from the salty waters of the High Seas, rather than the fiery conflicts in Volcor during the happenings of the Hunted.
Nationals:
You can find all of the information regarding Cyprus Nationals 2025 in the dedicated announcement here. Make sure to register for the event, pre-purchase a ticket if needed, and start working on your CC list. Things are changing and they are doing so in rapid fashion. We’ve got some events from now until then, so Living Legend shake ups are still an option with Dash, Inventor Extraordinair on the precipice, Nuu, Alluring Desire close behind and Azalea, Ace in the Hole also poised to make a last minute push. Don’t forget, our event will be taking place on the second official week during Nationals season, so results from week 0 and week 1 can still flip the script on us.

Ban and Restricted Announcement:
LSS mentioned moving up this ban announcement, in order to give players ample time to adjust and prepare, especially with the release of a brand new set so close to it, and Nationals Season starting as early as June 6th. They promised that things would be shaken up, and they have delivered:
-
Classic Constructed:
- Count Your Blessings is banned.
- Germinate is banned.
- Scepter of Pain is banned.
-
Bonds of Ancestry (Red) is unbanned.
- All of the above serve as a way to bring Florian’s power level down as we head into High Seas, while bringing some much needed power back to Ninjas like Katsu. Count Your Blessing has seen its time in the sun, and LSS has deemed it too problematic to keep having to design with it in mind, so it too has gotten the axe.
-
Blitz:
- Channel Lightning Valley is banned.
- Count Your Blessings is banned.
- Flicker Wisp is banned.
-
Storm Striders is banned.
- The dominance of Wizards and Aurora in such a fast-paced format caused LSS to take away some of the power behind these decks, while removing CYB for similar reasons to above.
-
Living Legend:
- Carrion Husk is banned.
- Crown of Seeds is banned.
- Cull is restricted.
- Deadwood Dirge is restricted.
- Succumb to Temptation is restricted.
-
Hypothermia is unrestricted.
- Living Legend had a couple undisputed kings, in Chane and Starvo. All of these changes serve as a way to bring them down enough so that more strategies can emerge, with Hypothermia coming back in full force to aid Isyalnder and Oldhim against the onslaught of aggressive decks like Chane and Briar.
-
Commoner:
-
Reality Refractor is banned.
- If you had any experience with this format, you would have seen how dreadful having to play against Reality Refractor wielding Enigmas really was. This is no longer the case, hopefully opening up the meta to more options.
-
Reality Refractor is banned.
The next ban and restricted announcement is scheduled for the 30th of June 2025, with the changes taking effect the week after the final week of Nationals concludes, on July 7th.
